Spiritual Purification

“The facilitator needs to do his/her own work and go through spiritual purification to be able to receive information from the field.” (From the Level 1 by Hellinger Institute Toronto).
This includes not only constellation sessions to work on your own issues but this also includes meditation.
When facilitator’s own unresolved issues meet similar issues in clients it results in facilitator’s emotional involvement. From this point constellation work cannot be continued.
Meditation helps with calming the mind and with increasing facilitator’s ability to receive information from the field.

Practicing spiritual methods – is it dangerous?

Practicing spiritual methods – is it dangerous? If something is dangerous – what is it really?
We had an interesting discussion about danger of practicing different spiritual methods. Very often people are warned about different things to be dangerous to practice. But I don’t usually hear anything like this about the family constellation method. I had this question in my mind a few years ago though. And I asked Vlado Ilic about it. That was just a part of the whole question. I asked, if this is dangerous to be a representative. And he told me, no. Because every time you represent anything or anybody, he told me, you work on your own issues at the same time. Especially if you resonate with someone’s issue, this means you have a similar issue in you. And you simply work through it. In other words, you remove some energy blocks from your body. Read More

What is meditation for a facilitator?

It looks like this is the number one “tool”.
It looks to me like there is no way to become a good facilitator without this.
Vlado Ilic would always suggest us to meditate at least 1 hour per day to become successful in this life, in personal life. Sophie Hellinger would suggest to meditate at least 3 times per day, 5 minutes each session (they open up the Universal Energy channel). Marina Toledo (Hellinger Institute Toronto) also suggested the same. She promised to teach us to meditate during our next training module in August. Read More

Choosing your constellation topic

Your constellation topic:
– Choose whatever hurts the most. Say it to the facilitator in 1-3 words. Do not add any details. Details are on the way of your successful work.
Also, this is my personal preference after a few constellations: I suggest to work on _your_ issues, not on your mother-brother-children-spouse, and I prefer to work on health as our bodies show everything. Read More

No rush

During the constellations work, when you work with the energies, there is no rush. Take your time. Sometimes you might feel like something is missing, but when the energies are not stable it might be just some unfinished process. If you wait a bit more you might find that the field is complete, all is settled and there is nothing more to wish here, all feels good and fulfilled.

Recommendations from Bert Hellinger

Bert Hellinger at one of his workshops in Germany gave a few recommendations to facilitators and representatives:
– “Before starting to work with the client I breathe out everything I do not need and I breathe in. This is how I receive the information. All information is in the air.”
– For representatives Bert and Sophie recommend to take off their glasses to have better connection.
– Also for representatives Bert Hellinger would usually say to move slowly to feel the field.

How to stop helping at the right time? When to stop?

From the “Orders of Help” by Bert Hellinger.
“…The End.
Finally, I would like a little touch of one particular topic. This topic is: “The End.” There is nothing more beautiful than the end. Why? Because after the end there is always a new beginning. When you help, it is very important to finish at the right time.
Sometimes I imagine the artist who created a beautiful painting, but he could not stop and continued adding and adding until the painting was hopelessly spoiled, it could simply be thrown out. So, we must know how to stop at the right time. Read More

How family constellations work should be done?

The facilitator must be completely neutral: no tension, no intention, no fear, no pity, no love. In this case the client’s family system will allow the facilitator to enter as it feels no danger and no disrespect. The facilitator enters the family system as the youngest member for a short period of time to receive the information and to pass it to the client. If the facilitator is tensed or has fears this prevents him from receiving the right information. If the facilitator has an intention or feels pity/love this means he positions himself as a parent of the client, showing disrespect to the client’s family system. The system will simply refuse the facilitator to enter and the work will be done with no result. To make the real work happen the facilitator must be completely neutral.
